The feature film' Barir Naam Shahana - A House Named Shahana' is a intimate drama in Bengali by Leesa Gazi. Inspired by actual events, the film is about a woman in '90s Bangladesh who is married off to a widower in England over a trunk-call wedding ceremony. She suffers marital rape, refuses to settle and escapes to create a future on her own terms.
